Leo Templates for Data Import (CSV files)

Updated on

Below are the CSV templates to use to Import Data into Leo.

  • Many of these templates contain sample data to give you an idea of what to include in the file. Please remove the sample data before you enter your data, and save the file.

It is highly recommended to follow a clear file naming convention with a date indication before importing your file into Leo.

Note: The first line (Row 1) of the file is ignored or skipped as it is reserved for header information.

When copying content into the .cvs template use Ctrl+Alt+V to remove any formatting from the source file.

After the February/March 2024 update to Events in Leo, we would discourage you from adding new Long Events to Leo. This update will bring together the features of Long Events and Regular Events in Leo into a new, modern user interface. Users will be able to create events, all-day events (that span one or more days), or events that start on one day and end on the next.

If you have questions about the new Events user interface, please contact the Leo Administrator at your institution.
