Integration with External Systems

iSeek

iSeek Education is a targeted search engine for students, faculty and administrators.

  • Number of years for iSeek: Default is 7 years.
  • iSeek Key: This value is supplied by iSeek.
  • iSeek Form ID: This value is supplied by iSeek.
  • Option to show the iSeek search bar on the home screen: iSeek must be properly configured for this option to work correctly.
  • Hide iSeek from Student Users?: If iSeek is configured and this is checked, then Student Users will not see the option to search iSeek.
  • iSeek LTI Provider: The latest version of iSeek is LTI compliant.  

Progress IQ

  • Enable Export: This flag must be checked to enable the Export option for this program
  • Common Course ID: This defines the agreed upon unique course identifier that the two systems will use to define a unique Section in a Course Template
  • Active Days: Define the number of days to go back when looking for active Courses to export. The default is 300.
  • Exclude Course Type Classroom: Select this option to exclude the Course Type from the Progress IQ Report
  • Exclude Course Type Clerkships: Select this option to exclude the Course Type from the Progress IQ Report
  • Exclude Course Type Clinical Care Selective: Select this option to exclude the Course Type from the Progress IQ Report
  • Exclude Course Type Core: Select this option to exclude the Course Type from the Progress IQ Report
  • Exclude Course Type Elective: Select this option to exclude the Course Type from the Progress IQ Report
  • Exclude Course Type LCE Longitudinal Clinical Experience: Select this option to exclude the Course Type from the Progress IQ Report
  • Exclude Course Type Research: Select this option to exclude the Course Type from the Progress IQ Report
  • Exclude Course Type Selective: Select this option to exclude the Course Type from the Progress IQ Report
  • Common user ID: This defines the agreed upon unique user identifier that the two systems will use to define a unique user. Default is Leo User ID.

Virtual Microscopy

If you are considering using the VM module, please identify the source for your VM slides/images, and share this information with Leo via a Help Desk ticket. Our technical team will determine how to set this up and follow up with you to establish a configuration such that the VM slides/images can be accessed from within Leo.

Once the initial configuration is established at the Account Manager level, the VM slides/images can be added as content (Relevant Materials) in Events/Sections by the Faculty/Admin.

Use the following settings to customize Virtual Microscopy features:

Bacus: Manage integration with Bacus VM systems

  • Bacus is active: Check this setting to activate the Bacus interface for your system.
  • Bacus URL: This is where the full URL for the Bacus site would appear. This is set up during the initial configuration with the Leo technical team.

Digital Slide Box: Manage integration with Digital Slide Box VM systems

  • Digital Slide Box is active: Check this setting to activate the Digital Slide Box interface for your system
  • DSB URL: Enter the full URL for the Digital Slide Box system. This is set up during the initial configuration with the Leo technical team.

NYU VM: Manage integration with NYU VM systems

  • NYU VM is active: Check this setting to activate the NYU VM interface for your system
  • NTU VM URL: Enter the full URL for the NYU VM system. This is set up during the initial configuration with the Leo technical team.
