Hours by Event Type

This report shows summary information about the Events (including Long Events) in your course. The fields show:

  • Event Type
  • # of events
  • # of hours in the events
  • # of hours/per student in the events: This represents the number of hours of instruction for the average student in the course.

Note that the system tracks two type of event time:

  • Real Time, which is the total actual number of minutes
  • Financial Time, which is the time for the event  rounded to the nearest 15 minutes. The 15 minute value can be adjusted,  so it may be different on your system.

This report uses the Real Time and tracks both Standard and Long Event Events.
