Portfolios: Categories

Portfolio Categories define a set of documents, reports, and data that make up a Portfolio.

The category manager allows you to:

  • Edit existing Categories
  • Create new Categories
  • Delete or re-activate existing Categories

Path: Admin Toolbar > Assessment > Student Portraits > Portfolios > Categories

Double click for a full list, or do a basic search by entering the name you are looking for.

Edit Category

  • Name: Required field (*)
  • Description: Optional, use the WYSIWYG editor
  • Save Record
  • Deleted: Uncheck this box if you want the Category to be active and available again.

 

NOTE: If you delete a Category, all of the Document associated with that Category will no longer be available in the Portfolio Manager, or in the actual live Portfolios.

New Category

This screen is used to add a new Category to your Portfolio Template. Your system has a list of categories to select from. If you cannot find an appropriate Category, you can use the Create New Category option to add a new Category to the system.

  • Name: Required field (*)
  • Description: Optional, use the WYSIWYG editor
  • Save Record
