    Summarize and Approve Evaluations

In order for evaluations to be fully approved and submitted through Evaluation Workflow, someone must be assigned as the evaluator of record at the course's Master Level.

    • Once an admin evaluator has been assigned, that person must follow the steps outlined below to approve and submit evaluations.
    • This is done at the Campus and/or Master Level. If your institution only approves evaluations at the Master Level, both approval and submission can be completed without switching Campus/Master Levels.
    • The evaluator of record can be chosen from the set of course directors that you will assign to whichever level you are working on (Campus or Master).
    • This evaluation workflow was designed to accommodate multiple admin evaluators: one at the Campus Level, and one at the Master Level.
    • The Campus Level admin evaluator can review the course's evaluations and submit them for final review by the Master Level admin evaluator.
    • After that, the Master Level admin evaluator is the only person who can issue final approval for the evaluations. However, since not all institutions have this kind of hierarchy for their evaluation process, submission and approval can be done in a single step at the Master Level.

NOTE: You will establish a set of Campus Course Directors and Master Course Directors; those will be the only people eligible to be selected as an evaluator of record.

TIP: For detailed instructions on how to assign an evaluator of record, see How to assign the Evaluator

    Evaluation Workflow

The Evaluation Workflow was designed to accommodate multiple admin evaluators: one at the Campus Level, and one at the Master Level.

    At the Master Level:

    • Someone must be assigned as the evaluator of record at the course's Master Level.
    • If your institution only approves evaluations at the Master Level, both approval and submission can be completed without switching Campus/Master Levels.
    • The evaluator of record can be chosen from the set of course directors that you will assign to whichever level you are working on (Campus or Master).

    At The Campus Level:

    • An admin evaluator can review the course's evaluations and submit them for final review by the Master Level admin evaluator.
    • The Master Level admin evaluator is the only person who can issue final approval for the evaluations.
    • Not all institutions have this kind of hierarchy for their evaluation process, submission and approval can be done in a single step at the Master Level.

NOTE: For detailed instructions on how to assign an evaluator of record, see How to assign the Evaluator

NOTE: You will establish a set of Campus Course Directors and Master Course Directors; those will be the only people eligible to be selected as an evaluator of record.
