Themes
Updated onArticleThis User Guide article explains how to set up and manage Themes in Leo.
Themes are an additional mapping element that provides programs with flexibility for mapping and tracking their curriculum. Themes are used to tag content in Courses, Events, and other curricular objects (e.g. evaluation questions and PET diagnoses and procedures). Themes are designed to be open and free form, so you can map information that is not covered by the other mapping elements such as Objectives and Competencies.
A Theme can be an organ system, scientific field of study, or any other content-specific element that you want to use to organize, coordinate, or report on your curriculum, evaluations, and/or student patient encounters.

Threshold Notification / Evaluation Trigger
Updated onArticleThe Threshold Notification/Evaluation Trigger is meant to alert a senior Administrator, such as the Dean of Student Affairs, when a student is performing poorly and might need some attention.
The Threshold Notification/Evaluation Trigger is only available for Evaluations where Faculty is Evaluating a Student. There is usually one recipient, who will be notified when a Student receives the pre-determined number of poor Evaluations. When Faculty use one of the triggered responses while evaluating Students, there is a nightly feature that runs a report, and when it exceeds the threshold an email will be automatically sent to the Recipient. The email will only be sent once.
*As an example, if John receives a poor Evaluation on two questions within the same Evaluation (Threshold number default is 2), once the Evaluation is submitted, the System will alert the Recipient.

Overview of the Gradebook
Updated onArticleFor every Course in Leo, there is a Gradebook:
- Each entry in the Gradebook can be manually adjusted and scores from the Gradebook can be exported to a spreadsheet (.CSV format) for use in other applications.
- The Gradebook automatically recalculates all Assignments each time it is opened by an Administrator.
- Grades for each Course will only be pushed to the Academic Portrait if a Snapshot has been run from the Gradebook.
