    Course Section Rollover Procedure

Course Rollover allows you to roll over the contents of a previous course into a new iteration of the course. It can be used on courses that happen once a year, or courses that have many rotations per year.

IMPORTANT: Before you begin following the steps outlined below, you must first create a new section/rotation for your course to be rolled into. See Step 1 for link to instructions.

    Section Checklist: Overview

The Course Checklist provides a list of essential tasks that must be completed in order to make sure your new course is working correctly.

Each item on the checklist will offer an icon to help you understand what needs attention.

Each item on the checklist also provides a hover tool with detailed information on that item and what the different icons mean for that particular item.

This article will describe what these icons mean and how they affect your course.

    Edit Course After Course Rollover

Once you have rolled over a course using the Course Rollover function, it is sometimes necessary to make broad changes to the course's events and/or the faculty assigned to the events.

One way to do this is to make your changes to the course using the course's .csv file and then uploading those changes to the system. This article will explain how to do this.
