The DaVinci Team is constantly updating our educational material to make learning and using Leo a great experience. One way that we are accomplishing this task is by providing you with asynchronous learning opportunities. We have built these modules for both student and faculty orientations as well as more advanced Leo Onboarding modules that can be utilized to train new team members who may be in higher-level roles like Super User, Data Entry, or Staff Admin.
Below you'll find some options for how you can utilize these asynchronous learning modules as well as the direct links and/or embed codes for these mini Leo Courses.
For more information about using these in an "Orientation" course and/or event(s) for students, refer to this tutorial in the Leo User guide.
For more information about using these in an "Orientation" course and/or event(s) for faculty, refer to this tutorial in the Leo User guide.
As of August 2023, we no longer offer downloadable SCORM files for these eLearning modules. We discovered that as we update content in SCORM files as Leo changes, it becomes inefficient for schools and programs to need to update SCORM files constantly. Or worse, if you are unaware of changes to the eLearning content, and don't update the SCORM files in use - then you'll be providing students and faculty with outdated tutorials, etc.
As an alternative, we are providing direct links to these courses as well as the option to embed them in Leo.
Embed Codes
The embed codes can be added to event descriptions or Info Screens - for a course section or an event (we think they look great on Info Screens 😀 ). All of these modules have completion forms that can be filled out for users to receive an automated email notification that they have completed the course.
Embedding Learning Modules in a Course or Event
Follow these instructions to paste an embed code in the Rich Content Editor for either an Event or Course description or Info Screen.
The modules below were built out to serve as a way to orient students to various components of Leo. However, many institutions find it helpful to provide access to these modules for faculty, staff, and administration as well.
