The Event Listing report allows you to view all the Events for the current Course. This option is available to all Users who have access to the Course screen.

In the Account Manager, if the Show an asterisk to flag Events in conflict was enabled, then the * column will display * to indicate those Events which are in conflict.

Column Headings:

  • Date, From - To: Date range of the Event
  • *: This will display conflicts of Events (if enabled in the Account Manager). For more information refer to Account Manager: Events
  • Event: Opens the Event screen.
  • Event Type: Displays the type of Event that this is.
  • Location: Displays the the location
  • Primary Instructor: Displays the instructor.
  • DOCs: Displays the number of Event materials
  • VM: Displays the number of Virtual Microscopy links
  • G/O: Displays the Goals and Objectives for the Course
  • S/O: Displays the Session Objective
  • Tst: Opens the Exam Manager screen
  • G# Displays the number of Groups in the Event

Links

  • All Events: Listing of all Events in the current Course
  • My Events: Listing of the User's Events
  • Filters: The report will filter the Events based on your settings. The filter status will be displayed in the title of the report.

Event Filters

The report will then filter the Events based on your filter settings. The filter status will be displayed in the title of the report.

NOTE: It is possible to select multiple filters that result in no Events being displayed.

NOTE: Using the No Students option will make the run significantly slower.

Imported Events

This report will show you all Events that were created or updated via the Data Import menu option.

Column Headings:

  • Date, From - To: Date range of the Event
  • Event: Opens the Event screen.
  • Edit: Opens the Event Record for editing
  • Event Type: Change the Event Type using the dropdown menu
  • Location: Change the Location using the dropdown menu
  • Instructor: Add/Delete Instructors
  • DOCs: Displays the number of Event materials
  • VM: Displays the number of Virtual Microscopy links
  • G/O: Displays the Goals and Objectives for the Course
  • S/O: Displays the Session Objective
  • Tst: Opens the Exam Manager screen
  • G#: Edit the Groups in the Event (Add/Delete)
Invalid Events

This report will show Events that are missing critical data, which would keep the Events out of most standard reports. This option will allow you to review any invalid Events within the current Course.

The asterisks (*) indicate the category that makes the Event invalid. The Other category could be any one of the following:

  • Learning Type was deleted
  • Program was deleted
  • Year was deleted
  • School Year was deleted
  • From/To time was deleted
  • Campus was deleted

Items that can be fixed in the Event screen include:

  • Location
  • Date
  • Time
  • Event type

Not all of the elements that can make an Event invalid can be fixed via the edit Event screen.

These items include, but are not limited to:

  • Program
  • Year
  • School Year
Events Missing Students

This report shows Events in your Course that do not have any Students assigned. The Events may have a Student Group assigned, but if there are no Students in the group, then the Event will be on this report.

TIP: Before you run this report, you should check that all of your defined Small Group Sets have Student assigned to them.

NOTE: This report will include non-didactic Events, but the red flag in the Course Checklist will only be present if there are didactic Events with no Students.

Events Missing Instructors

This report will show you all Events in your current Course that do not have an Instructor assigned.

Click on the name of the Event to add an Instructor.

Add Instructors

This list is used to assign and manage Faculty for an Event.

One, and only one, of the Faculty must be the primary Faculty member.

  • The extended master list is comprised of all Faculty.
  • The Add By Search option will allow you to a quick search for an Instructor, as this can be much faster than loading the complete Instructor list.
  • Start typing their name in the Filter search box.
  • Or click on their name and move them to the Selected Faculty list.

You can also set the non-financial model flag for any Instructor. Setting this flag will remove the Instructor's activity in this Event from the financial model.

Events by Attire

This is a list of Events where special attire is required

Grader Events and Long Events

This report will show you the Exams where you has been given Grader status. The exams can be attached to:

  • Events
  • Long Events
  • The Course screen

Graders assigned at the Course level are automatically assigned as a Grader to all Events and Long Events.

NOTE: Only Exams with text based responses will be listed in this report.

Student-Instructor Events and Long Events

This report shows all of the Events in the current Course to which you have been assigned as a Student-Instructor (Faculty)  

Events By Theme

This report shows all Events, Linked Events, and Long Events in the current Course that are linked to one or more Theme/s.

The report is sorted by Theme, and then by Event, Date and Name.

  1. Theme: Click for see more Theme detail
  2. Event: Click to see the Event Info screen
  3. Events with No Theme: List of all Events without a Theme.
Events by Core Problems

This is a detail report of the mapping of  PET_CORE_PROBLEMS to Events and Long Events within the current Course.

This data can be looked at in several modes:

  • Events and Long Events that have been mapped in CI mode
  • Events and Long Events that have been mapped in Non-CI mode
  • Event and Long Events that have not been mapped

NOTE: In CI mode, Linked Events will be represented as a single Event
