Mapping: Mapping Summary

This report generates a list of all Events in a given Course and displays summary counts of the number of key mapping objects that have been linked to the Events.

Column Headers:

  • Event Name - Title of the Event
  • Date - Date on which the Event is being presented
  • Time - Begin time for the Event
  • Event Type - Learning type for the Event. Can contain default I/M and A/M information
  • Location - Physical location for the Event
  • S/O - Session Objectives mapped to the Event
  • S/O C/O - Course objectives linked to the session objectives (this is the recommended mapping method)
  • I/M - Instructional Methods for the Event. Can be the default for the Event Type or directly mapped
  • A/M - Assessment Methods for the Event. Can be the default for the Event Type or directly mapped
  • RSRC - Resources for the Event
  • THM - Themes for the Event

You can click on the Event name to manage the Event, or you can manage the mapping lists directly by clicking on the summary counts.

Other report option links at top of screen:

  • I/M Summary - shows a list of all IM for the current Program and the number of Events mapped
  • A/M Summary - shows a list of all the AM for the current Program and the number of Events mapped
  • Theme Summary - shows a summary of all the Event Themes, along with a count of how many times the Theme was used in the current course.
  • Competency Summary - shows a list of objectives mapped to events, by Session Objectives or directly, and the competencies attached to them
I/M Summary

This report shows all of the available Instructional Methodologies for the Program for this Course. To the right of each Instructional Methodology title is a count of the number of Events that have been tagged with that methodology.

This report includes methodologies tagged by Event Type default and direct tagging of Events. The default tagging for an Event will be  ignored if the Event contains direct tagging.

This report also includes methodologies that were not used.  This is to make it easier to determine if there are Instructional Methodologies that should have been used, but were not used.

You can click on the count of Events for a detailed list of the Events.

A/M Summary

This report shows all of the available Assessment Methodologies for the Program for this Course. To the right of each Assessment Methodology title is a count of the number of Events that have been tagged with that methodology.

This report includes methodologies tagged by Event Type default and direct tagging of Events. The default tagging for an Event will be ignored if the Event contains direct tagging.

This report also includes Assessment Methods that were not used. This is to make it easier to spot Assessment Methods that should have been used, but were not used.

You can click on the count of Events for a detailed list of the Events.

Theme Summary

This report lists all the Themes in a program for the given course, with a count of events that each Theme is mapped to.  Clicking on the counts will give a detailed report of the event details.

This is the detail report for a Theme that shows which events the Theme is mapped to in this Course.

Competency Summary

This report will show a list of objectives mapped to events, by Session Objectives or directly, and the competencies attached to them.  

If you click on By Competency the report will display a list of all of the Competencies that are used, a list of objectives mapped to events, by Session Objectives or directly, and the Competencies Set which they are attached to.
